**Guided Dirt Bike Tours**: From $399. All day, guided and supported. Machine: Current model year KTM. Good for: Intermediate to expert riders. Previous dirt bike experience is required.

All-day guided rides on single track, mining roads and the private 1,000-acre ranch on current-year KTMs. Experience required.

**Q: Do I need dirt bike experience?**

A: Yes. The dirt bike tours are for intermediate to expert riders and previous dirt bike experience is required. The terrain is real mountain single track and mining roads at 10,000 to 12,000 feet. Newer riders, or mixed groups, should look at the UTV tour instead.

**Q: What bikes do you ride?**

A: Current model year KTMs. Tell us your height, experience and what you usually ride and we will match the bike.

**Q: Can I bring my own bike and gear?**

A: Yes. Ride your own bike if you prefer, and bring your own gear if you have it. Complete personal protection kits are available to rent if you do not.

**Q: How long is the tour?**

A: All day, guided and supported. Fuel and on-trail support are included. Bring a hydration pack; the air is thin and dry and you will drink more than you expect.

**Q: Where do the rides go?**

A: Single track and old mining roads around Leadville, plus the private 1,000-acre ranch, chosen by the guide for the group's skill and that day's trail conditions. Expect creek crossings, rock, and long climbs with big views.

**Q: When is dirt bike season?**

A: Once the trails dry out and the snow leaves the high country, generally June through early October. The first storms of fall close the top.

**Q: Do you also run snowbikes in winter?**
