About
One crew, one shop, one name.
Leadville Offroad Adventures is Elk Mountain Adventures, LLC, the guiding and repair outfit that has run out of 141 East 9th Street since 2015.
The story
The company's founder, Jasson Kuczma, grew up in the backwoods of Michigan and moved to Colorado more than thirty years ago. He built Elk Mountain Adventures, LLC in Leadville in 2015 around two things: a lifelong habit of powersports, and the fact that the country around this town is as good as anywhere in the Rockies and almost nobody rides it.
The model has not changed. Small groups. A guide out front on every tour. Equipment replaced every year, so guests ride the current Polaris RZR, Indy and Pro RMK and the current KTM. A private 1,000-acre ranch outside town for the days you want nobody else on the snow. And a working shop behind it all, because machines at 10,000 feet need one.
About the name
For years the business was Elk Mountain Adventures. It later took the name Leadville Offroad Adventures, and for a while the two names and two web addresses ran side by side, which confused guests and search engines alike. This site, leadvilleoffroad.com, is the single home now. If you booked with Elk Mountain Adventures, or found us as Leadville Offroad Adventures, you are in the right place: same owner, same guides, same door on East 9th Street.
Guests rate the outfit 4.7 on Google across 165 reviews and 5.0 on TripAdvisor, where it was a Travelers' Choice winner in 2020. The names that come up most in those reviews are Blake, Cody, Zach, Todd, and Jason.

What guests say
We had a blast with Cody as our guide. He was informative and very accommodating.
J. Wright, TripAdvisor
Blake did a good job leading us up the high country of the Rocky Mountains. He was knowledgeable of the area and pointed out many of the interesting facts of the Rockies and the city of Leadville. Blake stopped several times to let our family take breathtaking views and family pictures.
J. Gardner, TripAdvisor
Guides were very patient and professional throughout and made sure everyone was comfortable.
